Inspiration for this exhibition comes from my passion for tea making and drinking and the role this plays in our social and cultural lives.
The physical and visual properties of various teas are exeptionally diverse and evoke powerful creative responses within me, to which the resulting art-works, exhibited in an appropriate setting, bear whitness.

My 3D art-works 'Tea' Cup, Saucer, Spoon, and 'Tea' Dance, are intricately modelled, using various tea leaves, and give reference to the more traditional aspects of tea drinking, that I feel, are sadly fading within british culture.

'Tea-scapes' are photographs of creative scenes styled with exotic 'Tea' flowers, leaves and solutions, which I feel capture the essence of escapism, I experience, whilst relaxing with a cup of tea. These unique images, I hope, will help others, just for a while, to escape from the realities of life into an imaginary space.
